DRAFT — requires professional review
Update the conformance claim only after the manual audit in the launch gate is complete — keyboard, screen reader, 200% zoom, and 320px reflow. Do not claim conformance the site has not been tested against. This page must not go live until a qualified reviewer has approved the wording.

What we have done to make this site usable for everyone, and how to tell us when it falls short.

What we are aiming for
We are working to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That standard covers things like colour contrast, keyboard access, clear labelling, and working properly with screen readers.
Reviewer: this says "working to meet", not "conforms to". Upgrade the wording only after the manual audit passes — an untested conformance claim is itself a risk. What we have done
- Every colour pairing used for text has been measured for contrast, not judged by eye. Text meets at least 4.5:1 against its background.
- The whole site works by keyboard, with a visible focus outline, and a skip link to jump straight to the main content.
- Layout reflows to a 320px screen and to 200% zoom without sideways scrolling.
- Form fields have visible labels, required fields are marked in words rather than by colour alone, and errors are announced.
- Images carry meaningful alternative text.
- Motion is reduced automatically if your device asks for that.
- The site loads essentially no JavaScript, so it works on slow connections and older phones.
What we deliberately did not do
We do not use an accessibility overlay — the kind of widget that adds a floating accessibility button to a page. Overlays add third-party code and do not fix the underlying problems. We would rather build the page correctly.
Known limitations
This site is still being built, and the accessibility audit is not yet complete. When our online booking goes live it will use software from another company, and we cannot fully control how accessible that software is. The phone number and the request form will always remain available as an alternative.
